A Family
Shree Sai Dham Vriddhashram began with a simple belief: every elderly person deserves to live with dignity, care, and the feeling of being at home.
Around 30 years ago, Mrs. Geeta Kulkarni, after retiring from Murphy Company, decided to dedicate her time to serving senior citizens. After visiting many NGOs and old age homes, she realized that the promised care did not always reach the residents as intended. She felt that something had to change.
Shree Sai Dham Vriddhashram began with a simple belief: every elderly person deserves to live with dignity, care, and the feeling of being at home.
Around 30 years ago, Mrs. Geeta Kulkarni, after retiring from Murphy Company, decided to dedicate her time to serving senior citizens. After visiting many NGOs and old age homes, she realized that the promised care did not always reach the residents as intended. She felt that something had to change.
She shared her thoughts with her son, Mr. Pravin Kulkarni, who immediately supported her vision. Together, they started a humble old age home in a small, unused cowshed in Khidkal. Despite many challenges, their commitment never changed.
As the number of residents grew, they purchased their own land and built a permanent home for the elderly. And that is how Shree Sai Dham Trust came into being.
